São Paulo School of Economics at Fundação Getulio Vargas has been created in 2003 with the main purpose as the advancement of excellence in learning and research environment which contributes to the economic and social development of the Brazil.
Sao Paulo School of Economics - FGV has three main guidelines:
- Understanding Brazilian reality and contributing to bring about development through an the reinforcement of national identity;
- Contributing for the formation of an intellectual and leading elite in the Brazil, where our students and future leaders must be knowledgeable and committed to our reality; and
- Participating and contributing to the discussion and analysis of the main issues on the national economic and social development agenda.
