Has a B.A. in Physics (1995) and an M.A. in Mathematics (1998) from PUC-Rio, and a Ph. D. in Economics (2004) from the University of Pennsylvania. Was an assistant professor of Economics at the University of Western Ontario from 2004 to 2010 and is now an associate professor of Economics at the Sao Paulo School of Economics. Has published in leading field journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Labor Economics, and Journal of Monetary Economics. Was the editor of the Brazilian Review of Econometrics from 2010 to 2014. Currently is a level 2 CNPq researcher.
