GUIDELINES FOR PH.D. SANDWICH PROGRAM - SÃO PAULO SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS/FGV
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
The PH.D. Sandwich Program at FGV/EESP aims support students formally registered in any Ph.D. course in Brazil or abroad for partial development of their thesis in our institution with our research team.
We aim to help the development of research in Economics in Brazil through the exchange of information with the student, increasing the level of collaboration and publications with researchers in different institutions.
REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS
I. Being regularly registred at PH.D program in Brazil or abroad;
II. Having an advisor of FGV/EESP;
III. Keeping the academic interaction/cientific with the advisor of host institution;
IV. Providing the required documents for the registration.
REQUIREMENTS OF ADVISOR OF HOME INSTITUTION:
I. Being the applicant as well the responsible for the proposal;
II. Having a Ph.D. with a consolidated and relevant academic production related to the development of that Ph.D. student;
III. Belonging to a teaching or research institution, private or public, relevant to the intended research.
REQUIREMENT FOR THE ADVISOR FROM FGV/EEESP (HOME INSTITUTION)
I. Having a Ph.D. with a consolidated and relevant academic production related to the development of that Ph.D. student;
II. Belonging to a teaching or research institution, private or public, relevant to the intended research.
The duration of the Ph.D. Sandwich Program at FGV/EESP can have at least one month and in the maximum 12 months.
I. The student approved at our Ph.D. Sandwich Program at FGV/EESP receives identification card that provides access into the FGV premises;
II. Can audit electives courses;
III. Receive a certification statement from São Paulo School of Economics.
The applicant must submit the documents to the email of Coordination of Graduate Program (firstname.lastname@example.org).
I. Enrollment form completed and signed;
II. Copy of Photo Identification (RG/CNH/RNE/PASSAPORTE);
III. Residence Proof;
IV. Proof of enrollment at Ph.D. of Home Institution;
VI. Letter of interest specifying the period and the subjects that plans to attend to the implementation of Ph.D. Sandwich Program at FGV/EESP;
VII. Research plan to be held at FGV/EESP, with the schedule of activities, formally approved by the advisor of home and by the advisor from FGV/EESP;
VIII. Recommendation letter from the advisor, stating how this sandwich program will help the development of the proposed activities in FGV/EESP.
